Today, 4.10.2014 marks the two year anniversary of SSG Travis Mills’ ALIVE Day.
"Two years ago, my future looked dim. One year ago it was looking up, and now the future is looking great. On April 10, 2012, I was in a horrible explosion that took both of my arms and legs, but it did not take away the privilege of being a father and husband. I am incredibly thankful for the support that has been given to our family these past two years I am. I am proud to say that I am no longer a wounded warrior. I am not a sob story but a story of resiliency." - SSG Travis Mills Please help us honor Travis by sharing his story of survival, courage and perseverance. After the Wars Poll

You may have seen the recently released “After the Wars” Poll, conducted by the The Washington Post and Kaiser Family Foundation. One poll question that stood out: “Considering everything you now know about military service, if you had the chance to make the decision again, would you choose to join the military, or not?” 89% said they’d do it again.
